Project 2 · Savings Simulator

See what a membership actually saves you.

Indoor golf runs all twelve months; the Ohio outdoor season is about seven. Set your pace and your rates below and watch pay-as-you-go, membership break-even and the outdoor comparison recalculate live. The math is real — the defaults are our assumptions, clearly labelled, and every one of them is editable.

Live recalculation on every input — no submit button, no mock-up video.

Drag the sliders — watch the year change

Everything recalculates the moment you touch an input. Join fees are First Cutt's real numbers; dues and rates are our illustrative assumptions — edit these, they're ours.

Your numbers

Every default below is an assumption of ours — edit these; they're our assumptions, not First Cutt's published rates.

One bay-hour ≈ one visit or one simulated round — your play volume, indoors and out.
Default $50/bay-hour — the same assumption the Package 2 break-even uses. Illustrative — edit it.
Illustrative Dayton-area 18 holes with cart. Illustrative — edit it.
Ohio outdoor season ≈ 7 playable months; indoor is year-round.

What the numbers say

Loading the comparison…

Indoor, pay as you go: $3,600 a year ($300 a month, all twelve months).

With a membership (year 1 = join fee, one-time + dues × 12):

  • Membership tiers load from the demo data spine…

Join fees ($99 / $199 / $499) are real; monthly dues are illustrative. The tier math treats dues as covering your bay time — literally true for Masters (unlimited golf, anytime, any bay) and a simplification for Starter and Player. Edit the assumptions above and it all recalculates.

Outdoor, at the same pace: $2,730 for a 7-month season ($390 per playable month) — and no golf the rest of the year. Indoor runs all twelve.

How this is calculated

Indoor pay-as-you-go = bay-hour rate × bay-hours per month × 12. Membership year 1 = join fee (one-time) + dues × 12. Break-even bay-hours = membership year-1 cost ÷ bay-hour rate. Outdoor season = round cost × rounds per month × season months.

Found your number?

The Membership Explorer turns the winning tier into a join — and if you're planning a group visit instead, the Events Builder scopes it without a phone call.
